A characteristic of coriander is that all parts of the plant are edible. Nevertheless, it is usually the (dried) leaves that are eaten or the (ground) seeds. Note that the taste of both is not identical. Ground coriander is also known as ketoembar. In addition, the seeds are an ingredient in Indian curries.
