Despite its somewhat bitter taste, bay leaf fits into many dishes. Its strong aromatic smell enhances other flavours. The Euroma bay leaves can be cooked for hours and only removed at the end. Bay leaf is gladly used in stews. But it also goes well with game, sauerkraut, red cabbage, in stew, vegetable soup and marinades.
